Anxiety Attacks can capture control of our lives, They need not; Its just a matter of know what to do.

If you are experiencing any of the above, then you could be struggling with anxiety attacks.

For those of us that suffer with anxiety attacks, we know what it feels like. We get butterflies in our stomach. We have hot and cold sweats. We worry and fret over every little thing and anything. Our heart pounds. Our throats go dry and we have problems swallowing, just to name a few.

We may have many anxiety in common, we also may have symptoms that differ significantly. This is why it is crucial to focus on us rather than some definition.
Because of this anxiety attack is so tough to spot. It's not like having a cold or other sickness, where the symptoms are standard and simple to make out and identify.

Anxiety attacks may happen out of the blue. I have spoken with a lot of folks who have mentioned 'my life is nice; I don't understand the reason why I am all of a sudden suffering with anxiety attacks';. This is the character of the beast. There is no specified format for anxiety attacks. They could transpire to folks whose life are going very well, as well, as those whose lives are not going so good.

With my own experience of living with anxiety attacks, I am alert of the fact that the more you think about the anxiety the deeper ingrained the indications become. The stronger the symptoms, the stronger the anxiety attacks become. So you're in the realms of a vicious circle. This is when it gets incredibly tough to overcome these anxiety attacks.

Understanding what anxiety attacks are will help you to have more control. It's normal to worry and really feel tense or anxious when under burden or dealing with a disturbing situation. Anxiety is the body's natural response to threat, an automatic alarm that goes off when we feel threatened.

It is not till you actually become alert of the fact that your thoughts have created your anxiety, so it stands to reason that in case you have created the anxiety attack then certainly you can UN-create the anxiety attacks. This part is really hard for folks to comprehend. And I know exactly how they think! After I was told this, I rejected it. Why would I want to do this to myself? It doesn't make sense.

But at the end of the day regardless of how much I tried to pay no attention to that truth, it was correct, my thoughts were the foundation of my anxiety. I experimented with it. The more I targeted my energy on the anxiety the more powerful my anxiety attack became. So with the help of a counselor, I was able to work on my thoughts and get over my anxiety.

I am not anxiety free, however I am able to avoid my anxiety before it becomes a full blown anxiety attack.

One more thing to remember, is that anxiety could be unpleasant, but it isn't always an unpleasant thing. The truth is, anxiety can help us stay alert and focused, spur us to motion, and provoke us to solve problems. Although when anxiety is persistent or overwhelming, when it interferes with our relationships and activities-that's when you've crossed the line from normal anxiety into the territory of anxiety disorders.
